I made a pillar with soil in Jyo-zanji Nagano city matsushiro-cho. I collected the soil from several place of cities. The soil of the field,riverside soil, mountainside soil,and park soil like a this. The installation of the soil was totally like the tree. The inside has not yet transformed.

長野県長野市松代町に残る武家屋敷の茶室の炉に、土でつくった柱を立てた。土は長野市内数カ所から集めたもので畑の土、河原の土、公園の土、川沿いの土など様々な場所から採取された。使われなくなった茶室の炉に立った土柱はまるで木のようだが、にょろっと出た内部が私の変容を表している。
